FAQs

WHERE IS YOUR SHOP LOCATED?

We are an entirely mobile business serving the greater Salt Lake County area. 95% of our services are performed in the field, on-location at customer’s homes or businesses.

WAIT— YOU’LL COME TO MY HOUSE?

That’s right! No more lugging your heavy, dirty equipment down to the shop where it can end up sitting untouched for weeks.

We make things easy, and send the mechanic directly to you! After a standard tune-up appointment, most equipment is up and running the same day!

DO I NEED TO BE HOME FOR THE APPOINTMENT?

Nope! Not unless you want to be.

You’re more than welcome to stay and ask questions.

DO YOU KEEP PARTS ON HAND?

We don’t typically stock specific parts as inventory… But we always keep a variety of filters, gaskets, bolts, etc. on hand. If you’re looking for something specific, submit a request or give us a call and we’ll try to order one for you.

HOW DOES PRICING WORK?

In many cases, a tune-up appointment is all that's needed to get your equipment up and running, especially if it’s been idle for some time.

Our tune-up services begin at $100 and include the cost of air filters, spark plugs, oil filters, fluids, and 90 minutes of labor.

If we identify any repairs or replacement parts needs during our diagnosis, we will provide you with a detailed estimate for both parts and labor before moving forward.

Labor for repairs is billed at a rate of $40 per hour. Parts for repairs are subject to an additional charge.

DO YOU TAKE CREDIT CARDS?

We currently accept credit/debit cards, Venmo, cash, or checks (made payable to Mesquita Motors).

HOW LONG IS THE WAIT?

Tune-ups are typically done in about an hour!

We have one of the fastest turn around times in the Valley– Usually about a week, depending on how long parts take to arrive. We’ll give you progress updates, and let you know if there are any major delays.

DO YOU WORK ON CARS TOO?

Yes, but only what doesn’t require a lift.

We can do oil changes, brake/rotor replacements, changing windshield wipers, swapping air filters replacing blown fuses, sourcing and installing parts like door handles/rearview mirrors/etc.
